The Desiccant for Air Dryers

From the ComVac Asia 2024 exhibition last week, we learned about the types of air dryers, whether there are thermal desiccant, micro-thermal desiccant, blast thermal regeneration adsorption desiccant, compression thermal regeneration adsorption desiccant, modular desiccant, as well as oxygen generators, nitrogen generators and other related machines and equipment. Our Molecular Sieves and Activated Alumina are commonly used in these equipment to play a dry adsorption, oxygen, nitrogen production role.

In order to adapt to the different dew point requirements in the dryer, molecular sieve, alumina and silica-aluminum gel are used respectively.

Molecular Sieve dew point about -70℃

Activated Alumina dew point about -40℃

Silica-Aluminum Gel dew point about -70℃

Oxygen Molecular Sieve HP/Lithium/5A types are recommended for the Oxygen generator with purity 95%.

Carbon Molecular Sieve CMS 240/260/280/300/330/360 types are recommended for the Nitrogen generator with purity 99.99% or 99.999%.
