Type A silica gel, also called narrow pore silica gel, is transparent or translucent particles. The main component is silicon dioxide. It is an important adsorbent, suitable for drying various industrial gases, such as air, oxygen, hydrogen and organic gases, as well as moisture-proofing of instruments, electrical appliances, textiles, food, medicines, clothing, shoes and hats, containers and other packaging items, dehydration and refining of organic products, and air humidity regulation. It can absorb flammable and explosive gases such as acetylene from compressed air.
Application of silica gel desiccant in medicine bottle caps
Prevent drugs from getting damp: Silica gel desiccant can absorb moisture in the air and maintain a dry environment in the medicine bottle, thereby effectively preventing the medicine from getting damp.
Applicable to various medicines: Silica gel desiccant is not only suitable for tablet medicine bottles, but also for effervescent tablet medicine bottles, etc. By placing it in the small medicine compartment on the top of the bottle cap, the desiccant is prevented from direct contact with the medicine, while maintaining the dryness of the environment in the bottle.
Stable chemical properties: Silica gel desiccant is not soluble in water or any solvent, is non-toxic and odorless, has stable chemical properties, and will not react with medicines, so it can be safely used in contact with medicines.
